A show stopping, scallop edged, pomegranate/wine red felt cap trimmed with large sprays of fluffy, wispy feather pom poms & a grosgrain ribbon edging trim. This little number was not for the shy or reserved!
Circa 1930s Peach Satin Half Hat, Platform High Heel Shoes & Muff Set
A glamorous depression era set of hat, shoes & muff, all in rich, coral peach rayon satin. The half hat has long dangling accents & large bows, the platform high heeled shoes have nifty little ankle straps & the muff has simple but eye catching gathers across the front. The gentleman I acquired this set from said this was his mother’s traditional Christmas caroling set (I can only imagine what her whole outfit looked like!).

A fantastic oblong, bi~corn hat of black velour (a brushed fur felt) creatively trimmed with black velvet ribbon, ending in a bow at the nape. Very sophisticated! The “New York Creation” label dates this hat to the mid 1930s, depression era.
Circa 1930s Lord & Taylor Black Hat with Fishnet Trim & Brass Bees
A lavish, high end depression era hat of black felt with a spectacular trimming of tan hemp fishnet ending in a drape off one side & accented with two Art Deco style brass bees! The label reads “Lord & Taylor, New York” plus a little label with a spool of thread and a needle marking the center front, this was a truly upper class hat for the time~
Circa 1930s Deep Blue Cello and Boucle Hat
A sultry depression era hat, dripping with style, made of boucle knit with a wraparound, sculpted brim of glossy cellophane. This one is lined in acetate, so it was probably a middle/upper class accessory during the Great Depression. What a chic little number!
